Iran Restores Air Traffic as Flight Restrictions Are Lifted

(MENAFN) Iran has announced that its airspace has returned to normal operations following the lifting of temporary flight restrictions imposed amid regional tensions.

According to reports, the Civil Aviation Organization said on Monday that aviation services would resume in line with official Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs). It added that coordination with relevant authorities had ensured safe conditions for reopening air routes.

“With safe conditions established and the necessary coordination carried out with relevant authorities, flight restrictions have been lifted and the country’s aviation activities are returning to normal operations,” it said.

The restrictions had been introduced on Sunday after a spike in missile and airstrike exchanges between Iran and Israel.

Earlier, Iran’s military stated it was pausing attacks on Israel while warning of a “crushing” response if Israeli operations in Lebanon continued.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reported—citing unnamed officials—that Israel had agreed to suspend airstrikes on Iran, while maintaining military activity in southern Lebanon.
